My top take aways from this interview were:
- We need leaders for change. Change is the only way to get what we want, but our brains are wired to resist change. To shortcut this, remember to ask yourself, What choices can I make here?
- Resilience is being able to navigate change with intention.
- Your teams needs are very important and should be a big focus for your organisation. Focus on meeting your teams needs. Once you understand your needs, you will begin to understand yourself on a deeper level.
- Resilience is not something you are either born with or without. You can grow your resilience. You can learn to be resilient. Start to invest in resilience building in your team.
